Chapter 007 done.
Kind of releasing it at the very last moment... I'm going to hope I proofread it enough.
Ended up spending a lot of time on EotN titles this past weekend.

Hi. I'm just your average manga reader and I have some issues with the translation. I'll drop some feedback from one of your readers here.
Early chapters translation was filled with English grammar mistakes and typos, a good quality check would have avoided these minor faults.
The "Koutetsu no ou" feels really weird to read, a more readable "Steel King/Queen" would be better fit. And I know is hard to translate the japanese puns bits but reading TL notes to make sense about what they are saying kills the jokes completely.
I wouldn't mind a less literal translation that sticks more to the English language while keeping the message intentions, even if some un-important meaning is lost (for example, puns and jokes).
Still, the rest of the humor is well conveyed. This is a really good read.
I appreciate your work and it is my wish that you get better and better.
I blame the early chapters on my attempt at being as close as possible to the original Japanese. Trying to gravitate towards a more natural English translation now.
Given how few people seem to care for "Koutetsu no Ou", I'll probably change it over to "Steel King" next chapter.
I'm not so great at coming up with equivalent jokes or puns, so I'm at a bit of an impasse in that regard. I'll work on it.

As I've just read some previous post comments, I thought I should add some points to my "average-reader opinion".
* "Hentai-san" is as funny as "Pervert-san". But "Mr. Pervert" reads really weird. * I prefer "Mistress" rather than "Ojou-sama". * I prefer "Idiot" rather than "Baka".
Also, I should note that it is true that most of us know what many common japanese terms mean in english. But the opposite is just as true: When I'm reading "Thanks for the food", I know that they are saying "Itadakimasu". It's the same for "Good morning", "Thanks for your work", "I'll be in your care", "I'm back (home)", etc. I read them in english, but they sound japanese in my otaku head.
The only reason I can think for leaving those terms in untranslated romanji is "preference". And for that, I prefer a clean and tidy English translation rather than a messy fan-pampering translation.
I hope that my posts improve your view for the translated manga scene. I love your work and I love this manga.

* In my opinion, "mistress" has a very different meaning than "ojousama". Wiktionary defines "mistress" as: 1. a woman, specifically one with control, authority or ownership 2. a female teacher 3. a female partner in an extramarital relationship, generally including sexual relations 4. a dominatrix
On the other hand, goo dictionary defines ojousama as: 1. a respectful manner of referring to the landlord's daughter, or the daughter of the master of a house 2. a respectful manner of referring to another person's daughter 3. a woman who has been raised without a single worry, unaware of the hardships of society
"Mistress" generally indicates an older woman, and often indicates a (generally sexual) relationship. "Ojousama" generally indicates a more upper-class young lady.
* I can see your point here. I will probably avoid using "baka".
I hope one would categorize my translations as between the two "literal" translations... I certainly don't think I'm as bad as the middle one, anyway.
I particularly enjoy the art in this series, so thanks for scanlating.
Oh, would you be interested in having someone proofread the English? From what I surmise, this is a one-man effort, and an extra pair of eyes checking for errors could help a lot. You've been doing a pretty good job, but I've caught a few grammar mistakes so far.
Thanks for your offer (and it is very tempting), but I'll have to refuse. To me, this is a recreational activity of sorts, and working as a group would make me feel like I'm taking it too seriously. It'd be too much like real work, ha!
